Over the years we have seen big brands like Facebook, Google, Apple, AirBnB ; just to mention a few, use illustration to advertise. Back home, the advent of animation and illustration took full effect when Fat boy animations Faiba advert, caused a revolution in how brands advertise. Today more than a hundred brands are using a form off illustration to either market their products or to represents data during a presentation.  So why is visualization important to your brand?



They help you tell the story.

It is one thing to tell someone why they need your services or product, but it is another thing to actually show them. Illustrations increase memorability of your organization, additionally pushing your followers to click the like button on your post.

 


Artworks are very catchy and show a fun side to your brand.

This is very useful if you want to reach the younger generation. Take for example United Bank of Africa. They recently released a chat banker on Facebook called Leo, who helps the customers with different bank services.  The bank explained that it was to show that the bank truly comprehends the shift in operations and the movement of the global world with technology today.

 

 

 

Illustrations communicate the story faster.

Today there are various tools available to make an illustration, this makes coming up with an  illustration faster  and easier to make compared to an actual advert. Someone who is scrolling through tons of content will likely stop and notice a good artwork as compared to the normal pictures we see.
